Dealing on Day 8 of NaNoWriMo

Just a short check-in tonight, at the end of a long week, but a good week of writing.

Yesterday, I lamented that I hadn’t cracked 2000 words for the day, but today saw nearly 3000 words flow from my pen (OK, “clack from my keyboard”).

Are they perfect?

Nah, but then who wants to read or write perfect, anyway? Where do you go from there? What goals can you set if you’re at the peak and never make a mistake?

Thankfully, I’ll never know, because I’m as flawed as they come, and that gives me plenty of fodder for storytellling.

Yay, imperfection!
